Staying alone is not new for me. Initially I was supposed to stay in a hotel, since the trip is for just 2 weeks. But I requested my company to arrange a flat for me, so that I can cook my own food. And they had arranged a wonderful 3 bedroom apartment, which I was supposed to share with 2 other colleagues.

Have you seen the movie ‘Punnagai Mannan’. Or atleast the song ‘Vaan megam’ from that movie? In that song Revathy would be dancing in rain, and the sotta thalai villain would be watching it from his car. It would be raining quite heavily, but the guy will be extremely dry with sandhana pottu etc. I dont know why, but I had the craze of sitting inside a car, at the times of heavy rain. No, I dont want to see anyone dance. After buying a car, I have driven many times during the monsoon. But somehow the rains weren’t that heavy. Until yesterday.
I really felt like a Villain(No, sotta thalai is not the only connection :P) yesterday, watching people struggling in the rain while I was enjoying

Before Person 3 could answer, Person 2 interferes.

Looks like Fabia’s performance is not that great, when compared to Swift diesel. Hmmmm. And the 1.2L petrol itself is going to cost more than 6 lakhs. Is it worth? 
Its been a Nostalgic weekend for me. On Saturday, I got to meet one of my long lost friends Srinath. I know him from 1st standard, and somehow we lost touch after 12th. But it was nice to meet someone after 13 years 
I don’t know what people talk, when they meet after 13 years, but we spent some time talking about career/future and majority of the time about our class mates.
Blogging has been a good friend and companion for me, right from November 2004. Initially, I hardly had any visitors. But things changed, and before I could realize I had many readers. It was good. It was fun. Wait a minute. Its still good. But there are somethings which come along with a blog, that I found it very tough to grasp.

Today afternoon I received a call from some ‘Tours & Travel’ company. I forgot its name. The caller said, I won a prize worth 7,000 Rs in a lucky draw. I hadn’t taken part in any lucky draw and was confused. The guy said, they pick random mobile phone numbers as winners. Well, I was not sure how to react. The guy gave me an address in Koramangala, and asked me to be there by 6 PM. I said ok, and was about to cut the call. The guy said ‘Sir, Looking forward to see you and Mrs.’ I said ‘I don’t have any Mrs.’ Then he said ‘Sorry sir. Only couples are eligible for this!’
So, there was no prize for me My question is why can’t single guys enjoy tourism? Silly fellows, I say! What has marital status got to do with Tourism? I would say, single guys enjoy more while traveling than the married folks. They don’t need to worry about walking speed, mode of travel and many other trivial things which doesn’t matter when you are single!
