In the year 2003, there was this cultural programme in our company. The company size was small and they said whoever joined recently must participate in something. I was quite curious on what all things were happening and discovered that a group of girls were dancing for the song ‘Babuji zara dheere chalo’. I remarked ‘I dont know to dance, but I can appear as the buffalo in this song’. I thought it was a smart remark and will make people laugh. Instead the choreographer who was in earshot(Which I came to know later) liked the idea very much. As a result, I danced for that song dressed in the bull costume (Though technically the head looked like that of a grizzly bear in black) with all girls around me. Looking back, I think thats the craziest thing I have done in my life, so far!

Last night around 7.30 PM CET, 12 AM IST I suddenly started getting hiccups. I was wondering if someone was missing me, and thats why I had these hiccups. Immediately my flatmate(not roommate) also started getting hiccups. Only then I realised the rasam I made was too spicy :D

What’s the craziest thing you have done?

Yesterday, I had gone to a friends place near my house. He had come over the weekend from Bangalore. I will not get to the details of entire conversation except for the last part.

He: You look quite tired
Me: Yeah. Feeling sleepy
He: Have this
(He gave me a laddoo kind of thing)
Me: Whats this?
He: Its called kobre undi. Its a kind of laddoo. Quite tasty. Have it
Me: Thank you
(After I had it)
He: Feeling better?
Me: Sorry?
He: In our place, they give this ladoo everyday to the guy who is getting married. So that he has enough energy before first night.
Me: !!!!
He: Liked it?
Me: Yeah. Thank you. Good night.

P.S. I had a sound sleep.

*Look. You really write well. But please dont classify yourself as someone belonging to ‘that’ category ok? Best thing I like about you is ‘I care a damn’ attitude. Many people read what you write, not because you belong to ‘that’ group or you write on ‘that’ topic. Please do not behave like your silly group, which tries to justify every single thing and expect the whole world to sympathise like a Visu movie. You dont need to explain anything. You are good. Thats all.
*And you. Yeah, the chemistry is there. No need to talk daily etc. But sometimes be proactive and take initiatives ok? Don’t need to mail and ask if I am referring to you. Yes, am referring to You!
*YOU. Instead of trying to find out what this is all about, just relax ;)

Watching videos on N95 is real fun. Thanks to this site, one can actually download youtube videos in the 3GP or AVI format for their mobile phones. In this way, you can have your own personal oliyum oliyum. It really helps when you are traveling and have some 2 or 3 hours in the middle, when you dont know what to do. Check out Vixy. Its good. Oh yeah, you can also download just the audio from the youtube link in mp3 format.

I was actually waiting for Star Plus to telecast the Delhi concert, to write a post on it. Looks like it might take some more time! Anyways, here are some observations from the concert. Continue Reading »

Lavanya tagged me. The tag goes like this ‘All you have to do is select and upload one photo that you have clicked this year that is special to you. Could be anything…aesthetic, technical or personal. Also, put in a short note why it is special’

I took this photo today at Chandrachoodeshwarar temple, Hosur. 2007 for me, has been like this. Colorful, calm, bright and a little bit dirty. I never knew I can lead such a peaceful uneventful life :D Hope 2008 is same, if not better ;)

Wish you all a very happy new year.

P.S. I tag Guru, Sowmya, Bala, and Vishy.

Heavy Rain. Eat Mundhiri pakkoda. Schools closed. Postpone homework. Eat Mundhiri pakkoda. Play in rain. Feel guilty about homework nextday evening. Visit Pillayara temple. Come home. Eat Mundhiri pakkoda. Power cut. Finish homework in candle/raandhal(spelling?) light. Sleep listening to thavalai satham. It is nostalgic, but I dont miss my school days. Never. No homework. Phew. Life is good now. Now it is only work from home :D
