UEFA levies fine on Man U & ROMA
Roma and Manchester United have been fined after crowd trouble at the Champions League quarter-final first leg tie at the Stadio Olimpico.
I don’t understand how a club can be held responsible if the fans behave badly. You can understand if there was a brawl between the players or the support staff. But supporters? What does UEFA expect Sir Alex to do? Go and plead to every supporter ‘Please dont retort to violence’ etc? Is he there to train the players or the supporters?

Its a foregone conclusion that C Ronaldo will win the award. Apart from CR and Drogba, I am surprised at some of the contenders for the award. Scholes, Giggs, Fabregas and Gerrard.
Fabregas?? Gerrard??
Why on earth isn’t Michael Essien there on the list? He has done enough this season than what Fabregas or Gerrard have done. Strange!

And he will join the American Club LA Galaxy(???). He played for 2 major clubs in the history of football, and this movie is a surprise. Hmmm. I like this guy for his free kicks. But then Beckham is more than football for many people, and clubs utilise it well for marketing strategies 
There are rumours that Ronaldo(Not the portugese one) will be leaving Real as well. End of the Galactico era?

One of the best games this season. If Man U, held the upper hand in first half it was Chelsea in the second half. Man U has no one, apart from themselves to blame for failing to win.
And Michael Essien. What a player!

Finally, got to see a match without any controversies. Either from the players, or from the coaches. Drogba’s goal was really special. But I liked the way Essien played and the way Boulahrouz defended. In my opinion, Boulahrouz was the man of the match. He kept not just messi, but Ronaldinho also quiet. And thats not a mean achievement, by any standards!
