Well done Kimi. Very good race, and it was extremely wonderful to see a Ferrari driver win the championship. Yay! Its party time!

This report is stunning. I was waiting for the FIA report to be published, quite eagerly. Look at this. The PDF file from FIA, available here.
In what is being viewed as the most damning section of the report, the FIA has published an email exchange between De la Rosa and Alonso.
“All the information from Ferrari is very reliable,” De la Rosa wrote to Alonso on 25 March in an exchange about the Ferrari’s weight distribution.
“It comes from Nigel Stepney, their former chief mechanic - I don’t know what post he holds now.
“He’s the same person who told us in Australia that Kimi (Raikkonen) was stopping in lap 18. He’s very friendly with Mike Coughlan, our chief designer and he told him that.”
I fail to understand why the drivers(Or atleast Alonso) are not punished? And it was hilarious to read the BBC 606 where people were saying that Ron Dennis was known for his integrity. And this article went one step ahead.
Dennis, too, will feel the pain - personally as much as anything.
This is a man who has based his entire business career, his entire company, on an image of honesty and integrity, and to be besmirched like this will hurt him almost physically.
I consider McLaren lucky and I feel they have been let off with a lesser punishment. Forget the 100 million $ fine. They will recover that in no time. Not banning the drivers is silly.
A balanced, but good, article from Guardian.
Update:
McLaren are stripped of their constructors points, and fined 100 million $. Drivers escape punishment. More details here.

Hope it gets over soon and people get on with racing. Its been a wonderful season, and this controversy is spoiling the fun. Meanwhile as expected British media are all out to make Ferrari the villain once again. He he. Poor McLaren. He must be cursing from up above after reading this article.
The case against Lewis Hamilton’s Formula One team, McLaren Mercedes, over allegations that they have cheated this season by using secret technical information stolen from Ferrari consists of a large body of new evidence running to 166 pages in length, The Times has learnt.
Tch tch. Does it mean that if not for Lewis, no one knew of McLaren mercedes?
“The dossier of new evidence collected by the FIA is thought to centre not just on e-mail traffic between the McLaren test driver, Pedro De La Rosa, and Hamilton’s teammate, Fernando Alonso, but also on ….”
Oh! Lewis Hamilton’s team mate is Fernando Alonso? Is he new to F1? Is he any good?
It looks like ‘The Hindu’ reporting about a communist event
Biased to the core!
Which was your favorite part of the race?
For me it was the 6 laps Kimi drove after Alonso’s second pit stop.
Though its too early to believe this, it would be nice if Alonso is where he is. Anywhere except Ferrari. I cant think of supporting of a whining and moaning guy.
After an amazing Canadian Grand Prix, expectations are high. Will it be Lewis Hamilton again? Ferrari are struggling(compared to McLaren). Hope that the race is good and entertaining. BTW 19 year S Vettel has been pretty impressive in qualifying. All the best, young man on your grand prix debut!
Good start from the McLarens. Hamilton pretty cool and confident. Alonso is chasing him as if all his life is dependent on this race. Kimi drops back to 5th. End of race for Ralf. Fisichella gets into the gravel. Too much action too soon? I said too soon. Rubens has some problems and gets into the pits. Kimi is in 6th. End of race for DC.

Formula One in Delhi, India by 2009
Cancel that ticket to Singapore/Malaysia. Watch the race in Delhi
Hope Michael is present, along with the Ferrari team
I sincerely hope Communists and other ignorant idiots keep quiet.
Very safe. After an accident of such a magnitude, Kubica has recovered. And, he wants to compete in Indianapolis
I was really impressed with the Medical crew. They were extremely fast, and were there in the scene of accident within seconds. Its interesting to read what the doctor says
Dr. Ronald Denis, the head of the trauma unit at the hospital, said he was amazed the young driver survived.
“I was at the [racetrack] tower, and to be honest with you, when I saw the accident I thought we were going to arrive there and he would be dead,” Denis said. “But when we arrived there, he was talking to us, complaining of some pain in his right ankle. He was breathing, talking.”
I like these rookies. Kubica, Kovalan*.* and Lewis, of course! They make the races very interesting and entertaining. It would be better if the boring overhyped guys like Button are kicked out of F1.
Well, this race looked like a Masala movie. It had everything in it.
Tragedy - Kubica banging against the wall, and lying still in the car. It will take somedays for me to forget the images of Kubica lying sideways in the car. And the Helmet dropping low. But full marks to the safety measures in F1. He is safe now. Can’t imagine how his family would have felt, whilst watching this incident. Does anyone have the Youtube link of that accident?
Very good. F1 is coming closer and Singapore is definitely, affordable
Those who wish to join, raise hands!
I wish it rains heavily during this weekends race. I remember last year Hungarian grand prix, where the one race wonder Button won. To make things interesting, all of them are in Bridgestone. So there is no tyre advantage. Should be good to watch. BTW, what happened to SATO? He is not crashing these days ![]()
