வழக்கத்திற்கு மாறாக ஒரு சிறு கடிதம். தமிழக முதலைமைச்சரின் உண்ணாவிரத போராட்டத்திற்கும் இதற்கும் எந்தவித சம்பந்தமும் கிடையாது.
கடலை பருப்பே,
சில நாட்களுக்கு முன்பு ‘உன் பொண்டாட்டி உன்னை எப்படி கூப்பிடுவா?’ என்ற முக்கியமான கேள்விக்கு விடை காண நமது கட்சியின் நாடாளுமன்ற கூட்டம் நடைபெற்று கொண்டிருக்கும் வேளையில், நண்பர், மச்சி டிவி அதிபர், மச்சி இராமசாமி அவர்கள் என்னை மின்னஞ்சலில் தொடர்பு கொண்டு ‘நம்பிக்கையில்லா தீர்மானம்’ பற்றி குறிப்பிட்டார். இனிமேல் மளிகை சாமான்களை கடனில் கொடுக்க மாட்டோம் என்று சீதாலட்சுமி ஸ்டோர்ஸ் முதலாளி முடிவு செய்து விட்டாரோ என்று பயந்து விட்டேன். பிறகு சுப்புணி ‘மத்திய அரசு சம்பந்தப்பட்ட விவகாரம்’ என்று கூறி என்னை சமாதானப்படுத்தினான்.
நாடளுமன்ற நம்பிக்கையில்லா தீர்மானத்தில் வாக்களிக்க அனைத்து உறுப்பினர்களுக்கும் ‘ஆம்’, ‘இல்லை’ என்று இரண்டு பொத்தான் அடங்கிய டப்பி வழங்கப்படுகிறது. இதை கேட்டதும் எனது இதயம் துடித்தது. அது எப்படி வெறும் ‘ஆம்’, ‘இல்லை’ என்று இருக்கலாம்? சங்க காலத்திலிருந்து ‘ஆமாம்ல’ என்று கூறும் தமிழன் என்ன செய்வான்? அவனிடம் சென்று ஆமாமா இல்லையா என்று கேட்டால் அவன் தடுமாற மாட்டானா? இதை ஏன் எவரும் கணக்கில் எடுத்துக்கொள்ளவில்லை? தமிழ் தெரிந்த நாடாளுமன்ற உறுப்பினர்களுக்கு இனிமேல் ‘ஆம், இல்லை, ஆமாம்ல’ என்கிற முன்று பதில்களில் ஒன்றை தேர்வு செய்வதற்கு ஏற்ப, டப்பியை மாற்றி வடிவமைக்குமாறு மத்திய அரசை கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறேன்.
எங்களின் இந்த கோரிக்கை நிறைவேற்றப்படும் வரை தே.பொ.டி.க காலவரையற்ற உண்ணாவிரதத்தில் ஈடுபடும் என்று எச்சரித்துக்கொள்கிறேன். உண்ணாவிரதம் என்றதும் வேறு என்னவோ நினைக்க வேண்டாம். இரவு பத்து மணி முதல் காலை ஆறு மணி வரை உண்ணாவிரதம். ஆகவே இதில் கலந்து கொள்ளுமாறு தன்மானம் மிக்க அனைத்து தமிழர்களையும் கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறேன்.
மற்றும் ஒவ்வொரு முறை பாராளுமன்றத்தில் எதாவது பெரும் பிரச்சனை எழும்பொழுது சபாநாயகர் ‘Sine Die’ என்று கூறி அவையை தள்ளி வைக்கிறார். இனிமேல் அவையை தள்ளி வைக்கும் பொழுது ‘போடா டேய்’ என்று கூறி தள்ளி வைக்குமாறு பணிவன்புடன் கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறேன்.
கடைசியாக எனது இந்த அறிவிப்பினை ‘காமெடி டைம்’ நிகழ்ச்சியின் நடுவே சொருகிட வேண்டாம் என்று தொலைகாட்சி நண்பர்களிடம் கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறேன்.
