One of the fine actor in Tamil film industry. One cannot forget his acting in movies like Anjali,Baasha,Love today,Kadhalan etc… He spoiled his life by himself addicting to drugs.
We miss u Rahuvaran!!!

And Koottu puzhukkaL with Amala. That was his peak.
7vadhu manidan, so far back in time - I don’t remember anythign about the film other than this tall lean chap singing wonderfully tuned kaakkai chiraginilE.
Looking at his life another Bharati songs comes to mind - nalladhor veenai seidhu….

Also, if I had directed Ponniyin Selvan he would have been the automatic choice for Ravidasan character. Think Raghuvaran and read that book. You can’t bring anyone else to that role. How did Kalki concieve the future?!
Now I bet nobody could cast that role effectively.

His performance right from Anjali to Bheema has been excellent . A gr8 loss to Tamil Cinema - may his soul rest in peace !!! He will live forever in our hearts through his evergreen movies .

A real loss.. He was one person who could breathe terror into roles.. MGR ku Nambiyaar madhiri Rajini Raghuvaran once upon a time..
Too young an age to pass away like this.. Strong reminder that habits decide one’s life, whatever/whoever he maybe..
RIP Raghuvaran..

Great and very different actor in our Tamil film Industry. What was his age? In some magazines, it is mentioned that he was 60 years and in some websites it is mentioned that he was 48 years old. Mystery about his illness too.
Not sure any of you are aware that Raghuvaran was often called as south India’s Al Pacino.
I used to admire his hair style in 80s when I was a teen.
He had a troublesome life all along his filmy career.
Long time ago read in a newspaper that his mother had given her golden bangles to sell off and get money for his expeneses when he was leaving to Kodambakkam to enter movie field.
Rest in peace.

Yeah, he seriously was a very good actor.. He was simply awesome in puriyadha pudhir.. If only he had been there a bit more.. 49 is no age at all.. Tchah.. Anyway, let him RIP.. Amen to that.

he’s one among those rare breed of actors. a man who was accepted in spite of all his shortcomings. all those awards which were not presented to raghu, stand in shame.

Reading the interviews that he has given the papers so far, noone would believe a man of such immense talent could be so humble..his performance in anjali is an epitome of how a father is!!! Posterity’s loss!! RIP Raguvaran…
