Competition in Tamil channel is high. So Machi TV cannot be relying on breaking news alone. So we have come up with some new programs to entertain the audience. Here we showcase some of the unique programs.
Dance Program
As you all are aware, almost every tamil channel these days have a dance competition. They cover cine stars, mega serial stars etc. But they have left one group which has made Tamil cinema worth watching.
Machi TV is coming up with its own unique dance competition called as ‘oororam puLiyamaram’. In this competition all the animals that have acted in tamil movies will be participating. There will be no demarcation based on age or sex of the animal. This is to facilitate the entries of some elephants who have acted in Devar films. Ramanarayanan and Baby shamili(Well not a baby anymore) will be the judges for this program.
This unique program contains the following rounds like ‘Aadra Rama’, ‘Anne anne nagaraj anne’ and a sizzling ‘raakozhi reNdu mizhichirukku’ round.
Devotional Program
Ours is a secular channel. If we are secular then it means we are anti-hindu. So in devotional program, we will show the statues of Anna and Periyar, and the songs sung in praise of them. Special days like their birth/death days will be covered live where the dravidian poojaris will perform poojas for Anna, Periyar and all. No one can question us saying is this type of idol worship alone right? We will ask you for scientific proof about hindu brahmin gods. And we do not have guts to ask for scientific proof when it comes to Amman, Ayyanar, Muneeswaran or for that matter god from other religions.
News
Since our political party(DPDK) is not in power, and we do not know what the future holds, our views will be neutral. A sample news.
Politics
1. Chief minister announces that by 3020, every farmer will be given a Ferrari.
2. Alliance partner opposes this saying Ferrari is a foreign company, and what will happen to local manufacturers. And call for a hunger strike
3. Chief minister will clarify saying they meant Ferrari sticker made in thindivanam and not a car. Alliance partner will
be happy and shower the chief minister with praises.
4. Opposition party leader will say ‘Stickers lead to global warming. CM should own responsibility for this and resign’.
This is not all. As and when other channels come up with stupid programs, we will copy them shamelessly, rename it and then launch it.

The Ram issue is quite interesting. If existence of Ram needs to be proven for stopping a national project, then why bother about painters painting Saraswathy, Bharat Mata and a few other gods and goddesses in a supposedly derogatory fashion in the name of artistic freedom? When they never existed, whats the problem in painting them in such a fashion?

Hindu Brahmin gods are those which according to Dravidar Kazhagam does not exist. Dravidar kazhagam targets temples frequented by brahmins. For example there is no piLLayar, no Ram, Seetha, Laxman etc. But they will never say no Amman, no muneeswaran, no karuppasamy etc.

Guys, I appreciate the way Prabhu has written it. I understand it this way - if one looks at the current trend(especially in TN), all other castes other than brahmins would have reservations and one fine day, brahmin would be a minority.
Hindu brahmin gods - Rama, Krishna, Eswara, Muruga, Vigneswara…
There is no hard and fast rule that brahmins shouldn’t worship other gods and non-brahmins shouldn’t worship the gods mentioned above. But, there is no better way to write it than mentioning that word.
Summary - Brahmins are getting hit from all directions. Mainly reservation and the atrocities against them in govt offices.
There will some reference (ofcourse negative) to brahminism from almost all parties in their statements.
PS: This is purely how I perceived that sentence. No offence meant to anyone.

Maybe not a minority in this country thanks to whatever votebank BJP has in North India. But they are certainly a minority group in the Dravidian ruled TN. Ram, to them have nothin to do with Dravidianism and anything of that sort means NOTHING in TN. I dare DMK to make such a statement if there was an issue involving those gods that Ferrari mentioned here - Amman, Muneeswaran.
About the affidavit withdrawal - that was a Congress blunder and they had no choice but to withdraw it. They just did not want to court another controversy with the BJP+allies in addition to the countless ones they already have.

Now dont make it sound like you are trying to uphold the beacon of secularism in this country and I am trying to create more divisions. All I meant was what DMK has done in the past few decades when it comes to upholding secularism. They know that they have to keep the lower-upper caste divide intact for them to survive in power. They would not be here today if not for that. I dont think they give a scoot to anything has to do with upper castes and go to any length when it comes to lower caste issues. I repeat it again, they would not dare come up with such a project if it has anything to do with aiyanaar temple or a muneeswaran temple. Those worshipping them are an intelligent bunch of people who vote together based on their caste. Were you even alive during the “Da Vinci Code” controversy when people wanted to ban the movie in India? I dont mind Ferrari’s thoughts about what he put in here. If the great Dravidian party leaders (against whom he is aiming potshots at) had got their thoughts right, I’d be more pleased. Ferrari just countered Mu.Ka’s views here.
My basic problem is I dont mind anybody questioning GOD. Just like someone has the right to believe in GOD and air their views on it, the other person also has the right to say there is no GOD and air views about it. There is absolutely nothing wrong being a believer or an atheist. But if you decide to be an atheist and get on to the political agenda, you got to be an atheist for all religions, communities, castes etc. You cannot select the GODS you want to be against and air your views on them and remain silent when it comes to issues about other religions.
If there is no Ram, I can only interpret that it means that there is no GOD. I’d be glad if someone says thats not the case.
When the mob torched a bus on Hosur Road killing 2, Mu.Ka reacted “That shows how Ram bhakthas behave”. Bull$hit! When Mu.Ka.Alagiri’s followers destoryed the Dinakaran’s madurai office didnt it show to him that all Mu.Ka.Alagiri followers know only violence? When 9/11 happend in the name of a religion’s holy war against the West followed by countless terrorist attacks including the one in Coimbatore and those terrorists openly calling it a “holy war” in the name of their GOD, did he say that “all those followers are terrorists? Thats what I call Double standards and thats what ferrari hinted here in this post as well taking a potshot at him.
Calling for proof for Ram’s existence and such highly stupid statements such as which engineering college he studied to build the Ram Sethu shows his nature. A political leader of his stature should be intelligent enough not to make such loaded comments on religion in this country. A leader needs to choose his words carefully before he speaks out and if he thinks he can speak anything in the name of freedom of speech, there is going to be some reaction in the same vein that he might not like.
When Narendra Modi and Advani can be charged for making speeches provoking religious sentiments, tell me how different is this statement from Mu.Ka?

just to clarify things, the term Hindu brahmin gods is not coined by Prabhu.this has been in use(mostly by dravidian parties) ever since the times of Adhigaprasangi Periyar. His(and his DK’s) intentions were made clear when he burnt a copy of the epic Ramayana in public and garlanded the idol of Vinayaka with slippers, few decades ago. In every meeting he made it a point to call Rama, Krishna, Pilliar as Brahmin/Aryan gods.

if we say the rama’s bridge is of 20 or 30 miles connecting india & srilanka, then we dont have to demolish it completely..
all we need is just a small gap somewhere in the middle of the bridge to allow ships to cross..say a 50m width channel
to cross over..let the channel be at any miles length as per the plan..but its going to affect the rama’s bridge only in that 50m area where it crosses..may be a flyover sort of thing on the diggedup part would keep the sentiments in tact i suppose!..
Advani can give better ideas as he is some expert /mastermind behind demolishing stuffs..dont know why he talks in other way now..

God (Ram,allah,Jesus…) or no god is not a math theorem which can be proved true or wrong. Its individuals belief.
Everyone has the right to have his own belief.
Freedom of Speech -
Any one (Including MK) has the right to talk what he/she thinks. But it is common sense not to hurt any ones with it.
We -
Caste/region/language/color/race divide is the thing in the past. Lets just close it and move forward.
I don’t think we discrimanate our friends circle with this divide. Lets keep it the same way for the whole society.
