I think it would be better if Cricinfo sticks just to the commentary, and stop trying to be funny. Its so refreshing to read BBC’s commentary than that of Cricinfo. Silly guys.

Hi
Cricinfo must stop using all those funny things immediately. I agree with you.
But BBC also must improve the text style. It looks like an article and story than a cricket commentary.

Unless BBC gives a ball by ball update, even with the silly funniness cricinfo is trying to bring to the commentary, I will go with cricinfo only. Its more fun reading ball by ball commentary than the summary of a over.

The funny commentary is what makes it interesting to read the commentary. they are really very imaginative.

Hi Prabhu. Why don’t you write a He-She series about He and She discussing about reading your HE-SHE series. I think that would make fun reading. What say?

If you want interesting commentary, check out Guardian UK’s Over By Over reports. They cover only England matches, the commentary is generally far more interesting than the match.

Some of their jokes are really funny.. Esp. the ones in cases of rain-affected matches.. and bowlers who dont bowl well..
