After an amazing Canadian Grand Prix, expectations are high. Will it be Lewis Hamilton again? Ferrari are struggling(compared to McLaren). Hope that the race is good and entertaining. BTW 19 year S Vettel has been pretty impressive in qualifying. All the best, young man on your grand prix debut!

Good start from the McLarens. Hamilton pretty cool and confident. Alonso is chasing him as if all his life is dependent on this race. Kimi drops back to 5th. End of race for Ralf. Fisichella gets into the gravel. Too much action too soon? I said too soon. Rubens has some problems and gets into the pits. Kimi is in 6th. End of race for DC.

Hamilton opens a second gap. End of race for Rubens. 3 cars retired. In just 3 laps. Hmmm. Good start from Nick Heidfield. He is having a good season. Vettel runs on the gravel. Nerves maybe! Lewis Hamilton 1.7 seconds ahead now, at end of 5 laps. Kimi is on thr harder compund whereas most of the front runners are on soft compound. Now this is a big gamble. Ferrari seems to be slow in the second sector and thats where they are losing the time. By around 0.2 seconds a lap. Good fight between Liuzzi and Wurz.

Race over for Sato. Runs into the gravel. Interesting conversation between Trulli and his team. Trulli says the car is struggling with the grip. Due to the over heat, the softer compound is losing the grip pretty fast. Now did Kimi have the harder compound too soon? Heidfield commits a mistake and runs on the grass. He loses a position and rejoins just ahead of Kimi. Meanwhile Lewis Hamilton into the pits. Softer compound for Lewis, and also for Massa. Nick pits as well. Alonso gets into the pits. Very similar strategy. 7.6 seconds for Alonso. Lewis pitted for 8.8 seconds. Where is Lewis? Alonso leapfrogs Lewis. Ok. Now this is interesting. Err. No. The timing screen played some trick. Lewis is in front of Alonso.

Kimi pits. 7.8 second stop. And the softer compound comes in. Now lets see what his pace is. Hmmm. Kimi is 0.4 seconds behind Nick. Come on Kimi! Kovalanein stops. He was leading the race. I expect him to rejoin just ahead of Nick. Am wrong :D Kimi overtakes Nick just at that corner, and Kovalanein joins behind Nick. Strange. Anyways, Kimi is behind Massa now I guess. Fisi overtakes Liuzzi. Good move. Webber about to pit from 4th place. Meanwhile, Alonso is cutting down the gap and closing in on Lewis Hamilton. Just 1.2 seconds behind. Trulli pits from 3rd. Now only Rosberg is pending. Is he on an one stop strategy.

Hamilton opens up the gap a little bit. There is a train of cars from 12 to 15 position in front of Hamilton and Alonso. Good chance for Alonso to overtake, as he seems to have the faster car? Brilliant defence from Hamilton. Alonso is charging, and he just could not overtake Lewis. Liuzzi was stupid not letting the faster cars go by. Guess he will be penalised! Rosberg finally pits. 1 stop strategy. Hmmm. Interesting choice from Williams. I am very keen on the last set of pit stops. Need to see if the harder compound for others, while softer compound for Kimi makes a difference :D I doubt though! You know what? Kimi is the fastest man on the track :D

Kimi is zipping past the circuit. He is around 0.5 seconds faster than anybody. Wonderful. Come on Kimi! He is 2.8 seconds behind Massa, who has been pretty consistent and steady! Hamilton is 2.2 seconds ahead. And Alonso runs into the grass. Kovalanein pits. Well that was early. He pitted the last in 2 stoppers. Hmmm. Now Alonso got very less fuel. He needs to get in before Lewis I guess. Nick Heidfield pits from 5th. Now when will Massa pit? Looking at the tyre damage, hope Ferrari bring him in quick to limit the damage!

Alonso fastest man on track. Is he coming in soon? Kimi fastest lap of the race :) Alonso pits. 6.5 seconds stop. Hamilton pits, and Ferrari are ready as well. 7.1 seconds for Hamilton. Bit slow. But Hamilton keeps the advantage. Good one! Kimi pits followed by Massa. Ok. Now will Kimi overtake Massa? No he cant. But pretty close. Lets see what the softer compound does. Looking at the time sheets, there seems to be no difference in pace between Kimi and others. Hmmm. Tyres need to warm up? But 19 laps remain. And McLaren guys are 17 seconds ahead.

Race over for Nick Heidfield. Steve Slater says Massa is struggling with the G-Force and is leaning his head on a side of the car. Webber all over Trulli. Kimi still beihind Massa. Come on guys. Someone overtake. Its boring! Rosberg’s race is over. Poor guy. He was on 6th place. 4 more laps to go. Hamilton, Alonso, Massa and Kimi. Am terribly disappointed with Kimi and Ferrari. Hope things improve in Europe. Liuzzi’s race is over as well. So many retirements. Hmmm.

Race over. Lewis, Alonso, Massa and Kimi are the top 4. Well done Lewis! He is getting better and better every weekend!
