But thats only if we have a half decent race track already. To get the land to start with and then build a race track that meets FIA standards and to meet the logistics of getting the F1 teams fly over to India with their huge cargo and then have them stay in 5-star facilities for so many crews....I think with a lot of red tapism these things just look more and more impossible. Also, the prepartion and money spent for the weekend event is miniscule when compared to Commonwealth/Asian Games. Anyways, lets see what happens if India is lucky to host F1 or not. Suresh Kalmadi planning for a place near Delhi!? Lets see what Mani Shankar Aiyar has to say :) After the Asian games failed bid, I dont have too much hopes on this. Mani shankar aiyer has already openly criticised hosting such big events in big metros spending huge money.
