Very safe. After an accident of such a magnitude, Kubica has recovered. And, he wants to compete in Indianapolis
I was really impressed with the Medical crew. They were extremely fast, and were there in the scene of accident within seconds. Its interesting to read what the doctor says
Dr. Ronald Denis, the head of the trauma unit at the hospital, said he was amazed the young driver survived.
“I was at the [racetrack] tower, and to be honest with you, when I saw the accident I thought we were going to arrive there and he would be dead,” Denis said. “But when we arrived there, he was talking to us, complaining of some pain in his right ankle. He was breathing, talking.”
I like these rookies. Kubica, Kovalan*.* and Lewis, of course! They make the races very interesting and entertaining. It would be better if the boring overhyped guys like Button are kicked out of F1.

F1 is all about driver safety. Safety first, Race next. Remember about a bad crash by Ralf a few ago in Monaco. The core “cage” of the car is so safe, Kubica escaped without any fracture.

so true about the safety, when his car flinged into the air, it struck nose first into the concrete barrier and you can imagine the front cone disintegrating but the chassis and monocouqe remaining intact. amazing engineering. but the bad thing for drivers is not the impact, but the vibration and the flips. I think thats where the damage gets done.
a few years back Button was the future of F1, now he’s just another Montoya….sad.
