kanna unn tholla thaanga mudiyala . ok, we understand, you live in special Bangalore, Madras not so lucky. Why don’t you give it a rest.
Looks like somebody snubbed you real bad in Madras and you are trying to bring up this grapes are sour theory everytime. Cricket coach and Madras Veyil? come on
Finally, you come across like vadivelu in one parthiban movie.
Dubai lla ellam thariale sor saapdlam - kind of expressions.
yeah whatever,
Is the veiyil so much there that you forgot your humour??? It is supposed to be a joke with no connection to Ford and BCCI
The Ford connection was just a joke but I bet the veyyil was real (sorry to bring it up again, hehe)
It was so bad that I can only pity those folks playing that D/N cricket game at Chepauk on Sunday. I am not even going to talk about the plight of the players in the middle but you should have seen the dressing room when Asia XI was batting. Except for one player just to attend to the batsmen’s needs in the middle, the entire team was inside the comforts of A/C only coming out to applaud the 50s and 100s. That says it all!
“yeah whatever,
En thollai thaangalai na yaen padikara?”
- ah, Touched some nerve, didn’t I Chill brother.
I don’t understand… if someone writes a harsher comment contradicting the original post, the blogger goes on the defensive and tells us that its their blog, they will write whatever they want and if somebody didn’t like it , they shouldn’t be reading it.
Yes, this is your blog and you have every right to write whatever you want, I understand and more power to you. But when you write something in the world wide web, you should be prepared to face all types of readers. To come back and ask why are you reading is pretty weak. You can do better than that.
The reason why I read your post despite your contempt for Tamil, Madras and cloying adulation of Rehman is that your posts are pretty good.
Maverick, June is not the cricket season in Madras. Cricket season in Madras peaks in January. Some of the greatest tests in the history of cricket was played at Chepauk in January. you can look that up in the history books.
In the recent past some morons started scheduling matches in June, and during the North Wast monsoon. So don’t blame chennai for the conditions, blame the clowns that scheduled the game.
And BCCI, give the freaking coaching job to Kris Srikkanth.
yeah whatever,
The point I made in reference to the cricket match was just about Chennai weather in June. I never deny the fact that the scheduling was pretty bad or Chennai never had any glorious cricketing past. Chepauk crowds, IMO is the best in the country but unfortunately they have such a weather there it is tough to schedule matches during 9 out of 12 months in a year. So not much can be done about it.
The bottomline is Chennai doesn’t have a conducive weather for outdoor sports and thats a fact.
P.S. I love the city as much as you do as thats my hometown. Do not confuse my opinions about Chennai weather with the city as such. I like the city so much except for the weather which sucks there. Nothing wrong to admit the bad/worse things about your hometwon as much as you celebrate its glory.
