OK, the album was released in Malaysia yesterday (31st March). Songs are soooper and unlike previous ARR albums, impresses immediately.
Sahana is definitely a winner, notwithstanding Udit’s pronunciation, and is expected to become the song of the year.
Athiradi by ARR is wonderful, the electric guitar bits – out of the world.
Bailakka (Vaazhakka in Kannada) is okay as intro songs go. SPB does another amarkalam in the beginning. Song talks about nature especially village life.
Style is oru koodai. pachai thamiRan vellai thamiRan ellaam thEvaiyaa?
Anyway, it is an album EVERY Rajini, ARR or Shankar fan must buy!

arr has done a very good job with sivaji,but i think we should do something to popularize some of arr’s old gems like ‘vidukathaiya’ of muthu, ‘malarkale’ of love birds and the more recent kangalal kaidhusei.
