I am sure, many of you would have listened to Pray For Me Brother, by now. The song is being played on Channel V and MTV quite frequently. But how many of you, have listened to the instrumental version?

Let it be Bombay Theme music(Bombay), Netajis Theme(Bose), Kisna Theme or any other theme music, Rahman’s instrumentals have always been a class apart. This instrumental, is something even better. In fact I like the instrumental than the original one. I will keep the review short, as no words can do justice to this lovely song!

Saxophone: Carrie Hernly, Oboe-Leigh Ann Wootard
Flute: Seetha Sivasamy

The song starts off in a brisk pace, and then drastically slows down when the chorus starts off ‘Pray for me Brother’. Magic! The flute is brilliant all through the song. I really have no words to describe the effect of Saxophone. What an audio clarity? Everytime you listen, you find some hidden instrumental piece somewhere. Too good! Switch off all the lights and listen to this version, to really feel the effect.

Do listen to this song, if you really want to soak into something special. This song will feature in my top 10 songs of A.R.Rahman :)
