Yes yes. This was what the suspense was all about. Four of us so far. Five more to come. Pick me up, green apple martini, california iced tea and my favorite Blue Berry caipiroshka are the drinks ordered.
It seems there is bar camp happening today here in bangalore. Oh well. We are camping in a bar right now. So morally we are the bar camp guys. Aadisht says we should start a site extrashot.in. He he.
We are coming up with a book on vodka. And inviting people to contribute for it. Only rule is you should be drunk before writing the book. And we intend to sell it to people who read after drinking

Having an exclusive Customer Care executive helps. Let it be with your Cellphone network provider, ICICI bank or Maruti Car service centre. Where in, you can get what you want by just contacting that person instead of spending hours explaining same thing time and again to different people. Imagine extending the same analogy to a ghost as in Pei(Payee). You get the movie Muni. Thalai Ezhuthu

If you are a type of person who gets scared at horror movies, then this movie is a must watch for you. You will start laughing at ghosts in future. Asingapaduthitaanga

…protesting against Supreme Court’s stay. Very good. A Bandh will always solve the issue, which so many legal experts and concerned people cannot solve. We have so many problems. Cauvery problem, Lankan tamils problem, Naxalite proble, terrorist problem and many more. Why not do bandh on all 365 days of the year? It will solve all the problem right?

And why has the Supreme Court said so?
‘”We are of the view that the impugned notification and enforcing the reservation for OBCs in the educational institutions must be put on hold as the Government has failed to provide any authentic or reliable data to justify its policy of reservation”

Why can’t they provide data, instead of Bandh and other anti social activities? :)

Message issued in Personal Interest by F e r r a r i :D

You are waiting in the signal(Trinity Hospital Signal, near South End). The signal has turned red. After a while, you observe a white salwar girl, on a black honda activa. She looks good. She is tapping her fingers on the bike, rhythmically. Signal turns green for her. She goes straight, and you observe her bike has a TN Registration :D You could have also gone straight. But then, that is a bit long. You wait for your signal. After eternity, you get the signal. You turn right. Only to land to up in a traffic jam. Sigh! Life is cruel, I tell you!

P.S. If you are the girl am talking about, were you thaaLam poattufying for ‘Munbe Vaa’ ?

…in Bengaluru :( Its not even April, and the heat is unbearable. Guess, I will buy a Air Cooler. Is Kenstar good?

On a different note, temperature reached 20 degree celsius at Gothenburg, Sweden. And it is a record temperature in March, it seems!

Hmmm. Before you start screaming ‘Global Warming Global Warming’, please read Michael Crichton’s ‘State of fear’!

‘I would like to bring to your notice http://www.kiva.org. It is a fantastic non-profit organization that has it roots in Microlending. They facilitate small loans to people in poverty stricken countries like Uganda, Kenya, Nigeria. Please read more about them in their website. Microlending as you know is the concept that fetched the Nobel Peace prize for Muhammad Yunus’s Grameen Bank. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grameen_Bank

I recently came to know that this movement of Microlending is starting to take shape in India too. http://www.unitus.com

Please spread the word in your blog. Let people who want to do their bit, start making the difference.’

Vatsan adds
‘u shud also add SKS Microfinance as one of the pioneers of microlending in india. It is amongst the few companies which have made a profit and arent making losses. its founder was in the time list of 100 young entreprenuers or something.

http://www.sksindia.com/ chk that lnk for more details ‘

http://bankerinindia.typepad.com/my_weblog/2007/03/delhi_and_micro.html

Have a look at that post. it mentions SKS launching an IPO. that is the crux of microfinance, profit and making money :) Not philanthropy as kiva does. and this post also mentions unitus uve linked to is a microfinance fund, providing money for start ups, rather than a full fledged microfinance institution

One of the most cliched questions asked to any actor is ‘What would you have become, If you hadn’t entered cine field?’ And the prompt answer is ‘Engineer or Doctor’. But then, what is Captain Vijayakanth, if he answers this question in television or newspaper? In his trademark style, Captain has acted as a doctor(pronounced daagdarrr) in this movie Sabari-The Sharp Knife. No, not a veterinary doctor but a cardioligist. That too one of the leading cardiologists in the world.
