I just love this site called DesiCritics. You know, they have a very nice comments policy ‘Personal Attacks not Allowed’ 
But they will allow a bunch of people generalize, brand, advise and attack people from one state Check this!
And up north one misguided stupid pundit thinks that, generalizing and calling madras chicks as ugly is ‘Freedom of speech’
So Freedom of Speech = Generalizing and abusing people from one state?

As for Hindi, why dont you understand that not speaking/learning Hindi is not treason – it is a fundamental right for me not to speak Hindi. Hindi is not special. It is just one of the languages. No, No, there is nothing called the national language? Hell, if it were, have you ever thought why should tamils oppose such imposition? A language should become national on its own steam – not through force or implication that those whod ont speak it are anti-national. For crying’s sake, understand that. Good luck with reason and logic in the future, man.

seriously .I don’t understand what gripe you had..I am a Tamil too..lived and brought up in chennai ..But I didn’t find anything wrong with Kishore’s article..In fact I find it amazing that you and few others have a problem with..within the realms of my understanding..it was a simple objective analysis..and honeslty you are attributing far too much to it..
P.S – this is not a personal attack..i read your blog regualarly..but I felt a need to comment on this because I think you are getting a bit carried away ..A la Jade goody style…
and as far as the other post (madras chick…) it is in general an obnoxious post..wehter it attacks people from one region or not..its not worth a read

I am sure Tamil, Kannada and Hindi are very important languages. Please learn all of them. Just that, if you choose to communicate in English, you should learn English as well.

The weird thing was that author never understood where he went wrong with he insulted a whole section of women. It was sort of like that study which said Indian men have tiny dicks. Sure they did not mean all men in India
