I was watching some Dhanush-Priya Mani movie on Sun TV for a while. I am seeing her for first time in movie (Have seen only her photos). Nalla irukaaLe. And there seems to be no make up as well. ivaLukku yaen chance kedaikka maatengaradhu?

because she speaks flawless tamil, she is sutha tamil ponnu, speaks damil without accent.
n i also agree she looks good, neenga partha padam, adhu oru kana kalam, andha padathula super-a iruppa.she also looks good in barathirajas kangalal kaithi sei, and she has one movie coming, adula innom super-a irukka
Not only her, even the movie is good. Dhanush gave a very dignified performance. BaluMahendra would have taken good work from his actors. But, unfortunately, our audience don’t appreciate such efforts. They only like junk movies of Simbu and Vijay. Thats why, movies of film makers like Maniratnam, Kamal Hassan, Balumahendra etc don’t do well nowadays.
idha dhaanpaa, kangalaal kaidhu sei paathadhulendhu sollittu irukken…lets hope ‘Paruthi Veeran’ gives her a break.

I felt the same ways too …when I saw her. She is also a Good actor unlike the glamour dolls.
reason is that she is considered one of the heroines who does not have a good ‘rasi’
the last anon got the point. Mudhal rendu padamum flop, thanks to the B directors of yesteryears. Actually, AOKK wasnt as bad but it was caught in the 80′s time warp. Adhanaala, she got this unlucky stamp.
BTW, appadi onnum sathi savithri illai. I think she did her fair bit of exposure in KKS. She has had a hit in Telugu recently – so unless Paruthiveeran becoems a hit, we might lose her to the gults
OTOH, Trisha is still hot in the market despite starting off with a string of flops- Maunam Pesiyadhae, Lesa Lesa, Manasellaam…ellam nerampa.
dont think she looks that great… mega serial ku nalla irupa….
But as long as people can act well and put up a decent show, i dont think looks or luck should matter much…Even if she doesnt act well now, she should have the ability to pick up things through experience… afterall cheeyan vikram is a living example of what “luck” is…
priya mani looks gud… she s there in every other dance show offlate..in the tv programmes… if i am rite i saw her in jaya tv on new years eve… she is not worthy of an actress.. she wud make a wonderful model though… atleast thats wat i think
