England not only invented cricket, but whining when their team loses as well. And we Indians not only follow the game to the book, but take whining and protesting to a new level by protesting in parliament, throwing black paint etc.
Look at the comments for this article. The same people were celebrating, and praising the team when they won the ashes last time. It seems to be an extreme reaction, irrespective of whether they win or lose. Just like us, every commenter has become a selector and captain. Hilarious! Why cant people accept the fact that Australia played better, and England played badly. Everyone has a bad patch. Unfortunately for England, they committed many mistakes in the wrong time. But isn’t that what sport is all about?
I wonder what will happen if India loses this test match and the next? Now that Kaif is not playing the test matches, whose house will be tarnished? I think it would do a world of good, if people stop supporting their country and instead watch sports where they don’t participate. No more lunch time debates on who should play, who should lead, who should coach
It’s easy that way, at least for me. I am disappointed every time Chelsea lose, or if Ferrari don’t win the race. But since they are not Indians, things get better soon
You don’t need to support your country in sports, to show you are patriotic!

they committed many mistakes in the wrong time ROTFLMAO.
Such a wonderful article. If you try contesting the MP election, you will win hands down.

Yeah, its high time people realise that they are not selectors or captain or geniouses of the game..
Sport is just a form of entertainment and a social play… Best is to take part in it. Pozhudhu pola naa, konjam neram paakaalam. Adha vittutu, 24/7 hours paakiradhu, appurom adhu pathi comment adikiradhu, appurom nalla pillai maadhiri vandu post panradhu..

Is there a right time for committing a mistake? Where does one get such ideas?
Talking about time and mistakes, I guess you don’t know that captain had asked for chopping the heads of the killers who kidnapped and murdered a small boy in Chennai.

Ferrari,
It is simply disgusting to see a team supported by millions of fans & paid by the richest cricket cub, crumble against a team which was in hibernation for some decades. Indians talk so much about cricket cos they love the game. just like USA loves NBA. every team member, manager, selector is aware of this fact. still if they fail to satisfy us, KADUPPU VARUMA VARAADHA??? u see sehwag scoring a duck and leaving the pitch and then an ad featuring him as a ‘hero’.
//I wonder what will happen if India loses this test match and the next?//
nothing is gonna happen..adhaan world cup irukke!!..:-)

I fully agree with RK….even though you can say that by remaining unattached u won’t have any regrets..it is next to impossible for a generation grown up watching just one sport, and the only sport were we always have a chance to beat someone outside the country…cricket is just filled in the blood of 90% of Indians and when they make so much money out of ads and other things all b’coz of the millions who support them..don’t they need to show some more passion while playing the game???
