1) pachai nirame (agree..its wonderfully sung,great locales,colours,direction…brings out the mood)

2)ooh=lalala (minasara kanavu)

3) konjum mainukulle (kandukondain) - aishwarya looks so traditional and pretty in those red and green sarees..(probably the best on celluloid)

(I think kannamoocchi had great potential and started of well but the dream sequence with ash in solo ruined it)

4) aalangati (thenali)- funny!

5)Pachai Kiligal - love kamal’s dance.Shankar is so much better when he avoids those animations

Ferrari,Here is a list of those songs that had great potential but failed because of bad choreography/direction/cinematography…

1) suttum vizhi (ghajini) - great music and beat,but bad choreography..too conventional

2) athisayam (jeans) - good idea to compare ash to all the seven wonders,but when paired up with prashanth, all that magic evaporates no?
besides,she looked bad in a couple of those wigs (remember?)

3)Kannamoocchi - not bad, but no justice done to the song (reason mentioned above)

4) panivizhum - beautiful song undone by some really bad choreography.It looked like they were doing drills there!!

5) uyire (bombay) - great locale,great music..but somehow the picturization was too one dimensional..after all ,how many pained expressions can arvindswamy give?

I think kaaka kaaka had pretty good decent line-up of songs..the songs fit well with the story.. it dint look like an add-on…esp the uyirn uyire song with good music and decent choreography and the lyrics really matched with the hero’s mood & his thoughts..

apart from these I like Ennai koncham maatri(kaaka kaaka), vizhigalin aruginil vaanam(azhagiya theeye),merke merke(kanda naal mudhal),suttum vizhi and oru maalai(gajini),aadaadha aatamellaam(mounam pesiyadhe),anbulla maanvizhiye(kuzhandhaiyum dheivamum),pon ondru kanden(sivaji-balaji film)..seri am ending here but my list does not end here :-p

Looks like no one read the complete post! Hmm. I said “Which is your favorite tamil song? Or rather, songs? Not just music. But music, lyrics, video, casting, choregraphy everything put together.” How can some songs featured in this list, be there in well picturised songs?
