I have observed this. Mostly in all saree shops there are guys only. I mean the guys behind the counter. They are very good in understanding the colors, and help me in the selection. Whereas my husband says he doesnt know beyond VIBGYOR. I always believed that men didnt know about colors, but after looking at the men in saree shops I have a doubt. Is my husband lying to escape from the saree selection questions?

The guys who are working in silk sarees undergo special training from watchful eyes of many a veterans. After all this is their bread and butter. And this is not an easily acquirable skill. And if all men understand colors like women folk do, then worlds problems double. For instance if you catch your husband drooling at a woman, he might retort saying ‘Oh. That girl is wearing a peacock neck color saree, with vijayakanth black blouse. The combination was not at all good’. Or if you gift him a shirt, he might nitpick many a things. And if he shows interest in the colors, who will take care of the baby when you are shopping? Or who will hold the other shopping bags, and read every single pamphlet given by the saree company? So it is better if men have a limitation in deciphering colors!

My husband is acting strangely, off late. He is not talking to me much and is very formal. Infact I even sent a sms* to Sun Music(The SMS that appears below the songs) saying ‘I love my husband’. I really love him a lot. What should I do, to make him talk to me normally as before? Should I dedicate* a song?

Your husband must be upset with you because of the sms you sent to sun music. Next day in his office all his colleagues might have said ‘Your name came in sun music. chee chee. shame shame puppy shame’. This would have irritated him, and that explains his strange behaviour. And at this juncture, if you dedicate a song he might even consider living separately. Infact he might be having nightmares that you might start calling him as Ananda Kannan**. Remember, there is nothing called as dedicating a song. Buy a CD or DVD which contains the list of his favorite songs, than this dedicating funda.
For those blessed souls who dont get sun music.
*In Sun Music, they have this sms section. Right at the bottom of the screen, they display this sms. Anyone can send sms. Some of the sms I have observed are ‘Hai to all ajith fans’, ‘priya chellam I love you da’,'Stalin superhit in telugu’,'Hai sun music lovers’,'I love my husband sukumaran’ etc.
**And almost 85 % of the songs played in sun music are dedicated to someone or other. In that way some people celebrate mothers day by dedicating songs like ‘Nethu rathiri Yamma’ etc. And almost every caller will dedicate the song to one of the VJ’s. And going by what the callers say, there is this guy called Ananda Kannan who is very popular. He is Ramarajan rehashed. He will wear orange trousers, brown shirt and his hair color is also brown. I sometimes wonder if people really call sun music, or they have employed 20 to 25 callers to call daily and dedicate.

not only sun music, how many tv/ radio channels and how many ppl to call them up and ask for a song which is been played every half an hour, idhule regular callers vera…i think lots and lots of ppl are really job less…
got to increase the rate of such telephone calls to minimum 20 bugs/min, appa thaan makkal thirundhuvaanga…
only one outcome of all this is even graamathu muniaandi knows the word dedicate…

My whole family love handsome Anandha Kannan for his witty interviews in Sun Music. Thousand and thousand viewers (children, elderlies, professionals etc.,) like his compere in SunMusic.
He is helping many Tamilians viewers to use many forgotten Tamil words such as ‘Illathu Arasi’ for ‘housewife’ & ‘kaitholai pesi’ for ‘cell phone’.
He has been rated as one of the best compere (for Radio as well) in many magazines and newspapers. He also the hero in ‘Sindupath’ serials which is shown on Sundays only.
We are not happy to see negative remarks made about him by negative peoples.

All cannot have the same reason to watch sun music.Some watch it 4 entertainment.And some 2 watch the vj’s.Aana regular callers konjam over-than.suthama money waste.v can’t blame the vj’s because its their job.k.anyway comments on people cannot b alike.appapo songs kekrathukunu oru channel irukunu santhosa pada vendiyathu thaan.
u ppl really have a problem with sun music VJs ah.. very easily to sit n critic at the comfort at yr home. try the screens one day.. if u can make it, that is…
