Radhika kaaga than nenakaren. As far as I can remember she wore Pavadai thavani more than any actress (from Kizhakey pogum rail to early 90s), and she carried it off without any guilt!
Ennaku ennamo nirosha (chinna poove mella pesu) thaan gnabagathukku varuvaanga. She looked very petite, shy and modest in that movie that time.. That shyness is apparently absent in todays’ heroines.

haiyo, just because karthik told that no one in tamil is wearing dhavani i commented on ‘pusuni’ jyothika…i agree about her over weight and thrisha’s slim figure…my intention was not to start argument adn take this conversation in a different angle…:-( all are pouncing on my statement…:-(

but dhavani is the traditional culture in tamilnadu.. it has one fragrance and authentic touch to it.. further there some should some management tactics required to wear in a reqular wear.

Who said, jyothika has worn a lot of dhaavani-paavadai in Dum Dum Dum. She looks good too.
bangalore - it has never followed the dhavani culture, so you will never find it.
however, i dont want to interfere in the men’s conversations about girls’ and their looks in dhaavani…:) carry on…:)
