NO MAGIC, I got a head ache after the film. Aamir and Kajol are the saving grace of the film. I am just out of SIX DEGREES, Satyam in Chennai and straight typing my mind out.
Ravi K Chandran’s fans can go ahead. The music and lyrics rock.
Aamir I hope ur GAJINI remake and the film with Mani Ratnam and PC Sreeram goes well..

Nothing special in the movie. just set of stupid SMS shayaris. One good song thats all.
But terrorists are smart. they these days started assembling nuke parts from India, Pak and Russia and make thier own. what they dont have is a trigger ( FYI looks like a coke bottle). Movie is filled with such illogical stuff.
such a hyped up movie seems to be a normal bollywood masala. right from hum-tum kunal kohili struggling for the second half screen play and ends with the normal track. Jatin Lalith try to match with rehman copy few bgms and track. otherwase music rocks.. subhan allah theme is awesome .. hats to kaliash kher.
hepped up costumes, camera( sixer to Ravi.k.chandran. ) first half is gud and second half dragged a bit..
Thats the best, wait till it comes on TV. Movie very very average. Considering Aamir’s calibre, i think, he should not have opted for such a stupid concept. Movie full of superficial co-incidences…very poorly handled script.
Inspite of all this, amir has acted very well and Kajol is refreshing. Her dresses are very nice and colorful. Songs – Subhan allah lingers in the mind for long. Sonu – Shreya combination song – Tu jo paas hain quite romantic. Rest are very ok numbers.
On the whole, not good. If you are die hard kajol or amir fan, just go and watch once. if not, PLEASE DONT GO AND WATCH IT.
Kajol was a pleasant surprise – she doesn’t resort to artificial histrionics while playing a blind girl.
Aamir is fantastic in emotional scenes, he neither goes overboard nor is extremely subtle. And he carries himself as a good flirt as usual.
Everything else about the movie is Bad.
Aamir is not what he was in Rang De Basaanti .. It is more of a kajol movie.. Ofcourse he looks drop dead gorgeous in some scenes but in most he is looking jaded and has nothig new to act..
Songs are mixed (some good some bad) and anybody wants to watch POLAND without VISA? I watched for 125 ( idhukku visa eduthu poi irukkalam)
Got to your blog for suttum vizhi lyrics. Fanaa is ridiculous. Agree with Praveen. I was in Six Degrees that fateful evening, and our time went FANAA, nothing else. I’ve blogged the whole fiasco in my site, so you might wanna stop by, but not totally if you want the suspense to linger.
