Peace talks/protests/hunger strike NEVER work. Let it be for/against reservation/dam or any issue! Maybe it serves as good fodder for media. But no one takes people protesting peacefully, seriously!

So, what do you think should be done?

“no one takes people protesting peacefully, seriously!”
By any chance, do you think violent protests would be taken seriously? I belive that no protest, irrespective of its merit, works, only politics works.

ganeshram,
MK is trying to take credit for something which is already in place for quite some time

I hate it.

Prabhu.. there is a small difference when it comes to protest et all..
it is who is doing it.. if the person who is protesting is from minority/supressed (so called), then it will have some effect.. since it will have political implications(read cheap vote) and all the parties will jump into it..
if the person who protests is of any other type (like a type in C ::)) no one is gonna give a damn.. even if they die of hunger

I agree with Karthik.. who protests matters. Demolishing 15 temples won’t matter but demolishing a single mosque will be considered a criminal offense

Ganeshram,
1. Would you be kind enough to quench my curiosity by explaining your reference to non-Brahmins as ‘the ppl’ [in quotes]???
2. No debates, ok?

Ganeshram and Bala,
Relax relax. This is a sensitive issue. Please do not blow it out of proportion. There are bigger and better things to focus our attention on!
Karthik and Priya,
Oops! No comments!

Like cosmic voices says.. Only politics works! All these protests waste everyone’s time.
