Roger Draper takes over British Tennis Association. Good
‘Former Davis Cup captain David Lloyd says the need for change is motivated by “the LTA syndrome”, which he says is “defeatist, insular and doesn’t look for the best people”‘ - Fine. Agreed.
“Greg Rusedski, Tim Henman and now Andy Murray are great players but their success is hiding the reality that behind them British tennis players are absolutely abysmal.”

Last week, Lloyd proclaimed he was the right man for the post of LTA cheif.Good that it dint happen.Of course his comments are very funny. Probably he could join BBC, to write articles about the success of these British ‘greats’ :-).

Ferrari, cut them some slack. They are the ultimate Hype-meisters. David Beckham is the greatest footballer ever, FLintoff is the greatest all-rounder ever. Ofcourse, compared to this, those sound more realistic. but thats the general scheme fo things in Britain.
