By their nature of work, some people get to travel to different places. Sometimes the duration of travel will be only a month or less than that. When that’s the case, people don’t take their families along. And it does happen that people tend to share apartments with some of these. Now, lets categorize the people as follows
Note: This applies for people who travel for a short duration (Max 1 or 2 months) only
Guys who are married
People who fall under this category are the most volatile. In the first one week, they will be bubbling with enthusiasm and energy checking out the pubs/bars and what not. In the first week, they will be seen in the company of single guys. At the end of the first week, they undergo a major change. Especially after the Sunday morning conversation of ‘What are you getting for us from there, Hope you are not drinking a lot’. They end up becoming completely silent, and drink to get away from their guilty feeling. Having such guys as flat mates is harmless. In fact it is highly entertaining, and you get to see reality
Guys who are engaged
They are the most boring. How many times can you listen to ‘I always wanted to come onsite. But now I am realizing what I am missing. Forget money yaar. I just want to get back home’. Add to it, you get phone calls/yahoo buzzes at unholy hours. Believe me, when you are sound asleep and you suddenly hear a yahoo buzz at full volume the day is screwed up. These guys wont accompany you anywhere on picnic, sight seeing etc. So that they can pour out ‘You know what? These guys went for sight seeing today. I didn’t feel like going anywhere. I don’t feel like doing anything. I just want to see you. Be with you’. On second thoughts, its better such guys don’t accompany you on outings. Else you will be flooded with ‘Please take my snap. I want to send it to my girl’ every 100 metres.
Guys who are single
Haaa. What fun. They are the cynosure of all eyes. Happy go lucky kind. No need to worry about anything. Once a week call family and forget it. Sometimes call some girl who is a friend, and hear ‘Why are you spending so much to call me. We can talk through mails/yahoo/gtalk. Hope you are having good fun. Am all J’
Girls
Her time will go away in wading away guys from the above mentioned categories

Nachunu sonna machi..
Engaged males [arranged marriage] are one of the most irritating things in this world.
How true
Good work Ferro
Prabhu: girls have much better things to do. We dont have to spend, rather waste our time and energy to keep guys at bay.
Bala : Sometimes engaged women could make the best company.
Ellaam avanga avangaluku varum bothu paakalaam
Abt engaged guys – cannot agree more because I distinctly remember suffering in the wake of one guy’s antics.
Regarding married guys – there are different types. Some are plain home-birds and some are outgoing varieties. The home-birds belong to the older lot, as in married for atleast 10-15 years types. The outgoing varieties are those who are married for just about 3-4 years or so.
Regarding bachelors – hah! Dont I know…
reg Gals – you really haven’t seen that many gals, I say! you need to be more observant. I agree at Anon’s comment. they barely care. in hindi “ghaas nahin daalegi”.
