Thanks for your correction on the definition for Paadal Petra Sthalam. Kindly note that it is not ‘Pirra’ as stated by Prabhu ; it is ‘Petra’. I will be visiting Uthiramerur temples next week as part of my LTC trip.

My husdands place is a village called Ammaiyappa Nallur in uthiremerur. We have never been there. I have heard that there is a perumal temple in that village. As you have been 18 years in uthirmerur can you tell me something about ammaiyappa nallur?
