Neat pic, Ferro. Next time antha periya floodlight oda glare avoid pannu. Also, I would have tried to avoid that lamp post. Maybe walk a few meters ahead and capture the shot. Also, avoid the shrubs and the junta below and take the grandeur of the building against the stark darkness of the sky! BTW, these pics should be taken without flash only. If your camera has a night mode, it may be able to produce a delayed flash and adjust the aperture and speed appropriately. I liked your observation about the neon lighting on the Hindi script being switched off. Not sure why! Seems like Chennai will hold its anti-Hindi grudge forever!

Avoid lamp post. Avoid glare. Avoid shrubs. Avoid junta. hey.. if you are going to avoid all these I suggest you better avoid falling in to Buckungham kaalvai

Glad to see the Chennai Central Station photo.
It is my all time favourite railway stations in India.
Very organized, neat and clean. In fact whenever I come South I do not go without visiting Chennai.
I stayed for 4 years in Madras and loved my staty and managed to pick few words in Tamil.
I am based in New Delhi and miss my very dear Chennai very much.
