Lets say there is a girl X. The chance of getting an intro of X’s friend who is also a girl is, inversely proportional to how cute the friend is.
Sigh!
P.S. This theory does not hold good for accidental meetings

agree with Shek…most of the times it is directly proportional.
but once u get closer to X, then the chances of u speaking with X’s friend is inversely proportional to how cute X is.

If that guy is a Manmada …….! Okay you called her X, and say if her friend is XX, I’d like to know the probability of meeting XX’s friend?

Well.. it is also inversely proportional to how much u impress X :-p

Ferro - I think I agree with you, provided one more assumption is made. The assumption is that X is J about her friends and X is somewhat possessive about her friends which obviously must include you. X will not like to share her friends and therefore the inverse proportion holds true. psst! I have seen this happen with a colleague and his friendi!
And Priya’s statement should be a precondition to your theory. If her statement holds true, then your theory may work.
