What do you think will happen in this session of parliament?
Am sure with issues like bofors, phone tapping, iran voting, petrol/diesel price hike, controversial census in armed forced we can expect lots of proceedings to be disrupted pretty frequently.
I have a basic doubt. Can the government pass a motion, when the opposition/allies are staging a walk out?
NDTV, CNN-IBN media managers will be rubbing their hand in glee, waiting to sensationalise something. Hmmmm!

I think you need the majority vote to pass a bill irrespective of which party is present or who has walked out!!

The issues are many but looks like the left is going to be the true nemesis.
In particular the union budget is going to be a thing to watch, dunno what/who will go for a spin this time.
BJP will surely turn the heat on.
What about the new video of a UP legislator taking money to promote DRUGS.

There shud be a rule, if so many presented motions are not passed, treasury bills shud not be allowed to placed on the table. Then lets see what happens..

lack of accountability is the main reason for this amount of time and money that ‘ ll eventually go waste for the parliament proceedings. Unless we change, they’ll remain the same. by the way, vaiko is gonna remain with dmk it seems, thats an interesting twist !!!
