all india radio has this it may not be chennai but from delhi – i do not know the timing or frequency but it is there thanks to the efforts of stalwarts like Dr. V. Raghavan, founder of the Samskrita Ranga

All India Radio la undu. I think it is from delhi and between 6:30 and 7:00 in the evening.
don’t remember the exact time but there used to be a sanskrithavaartha in DD every sunday afternoon
