Happens all the time with folks that dont know Hindi. But then same is the case with Tamil. The beauty of a limerick in its native language is absolutely lost when it is translated into another language.
Try converting these lines literally into English:
Hindi: Chaand Taare Phool Aur Khushboo, Yeh Tho Saare Afsaane Hain!
Tamil: Vaa Vennilaa Unnai Thaane Vaanam Thedudhe!
