None of the auto meters are correct. Is there any one to check these people. This is my 25 complaint and I see no measures taken on these auto drivers.

This is the first time I am seeing a meter that keep on changing when the engine is fully stopped. Hope you would take neccessary action against him.

Date:21/9/2006 9:15 A.M from Maruthinagar to Airport Road (Usual rate is Rs 49-50..he asked 60 Rs from me..)

He also has an old meter..He doesnot have a License Display Sytem hanged on his Auto..so i couldnot get his details.

I am sure you would take the necessary action against these autos to make our travels safer in the city.

bangalore auto peoples behave very rude with northy peoples those who does not know the kannada. bangalore police must take some action.they should respect to northy

I came to bangalore from Chennai by Lalbagh express on 16th Aug. The train reached approx 30 min late at 9:35PM. I went to take an auto from prepaid counter in Contonment Station. There were 3 police men who told the counter is closed and go and find auton on my own and told I need to pay 1.5times meter. I need to go to R.T. Nagar. I tried calling for an auto no one is ready to come to RTNGR as it is not more than 5KM from there. Few auto fellows demanded Rs 80-100. I told them I pay 1.5times the meter. The auto fellow with Reg No KA05D 6825 asked for Rs 100. I told I can pay 70 as meter comes approx Rs35-38 to my place. He told no. I told I will go and complain to the police who is at prepaid countr. He started shouting and started using bad words in Hindi like “Tere amma ge gaand etc” and told go and complain to commissioner I am not scared and tried to raise his hand. He looks liek drunken at that time as I could smell alchohal when he came closer. Then I stepped not pick up fight. I got an auto for Rs.70 (which is more or less double meter) ans the address of that auto fellow shows RT Nagar. I could see lot other passengers also struggli to find an auto with “No help from Police”. I do not know why pre-paid counter is there at all? I request you to take appropriate action on that auto fellow and inform relevant authorities to make the per-paid counter operations better.

I got down from the bus here which come from Kundapur and asked the autos to take me to HSR layout. Most of the autos charged 150. but this guy said I’ll come for meter. After sometime I saw his meter jumping like anything. befor 2 KM it was showing Rs15 and then 16.50. I said there is somtime wrong with the meter and got down to cach another auto. he almost fought with asking me to give Rs16.50. I also fought and managed to ive only Rs12.

please take necessary action against this auto driver.

I would encourage anyone who faced harrasment at the hands of auto drivers in bangalore to send you complaints along with auto registration number to this email id.

Could you please check this auto to see if he has a wrong meter?

I called the Banglore West Auto complaint office to register the complaint. The lady that was talking to me first asked me to come to office to register the complaint. Later she half heartedly agreed and took the auto no. She asked me about my identification. But the way she was behaving, I didn’t feel comfortable in giving her my name and address. When I asked her her identification, she also refused to give me her name.

Will this continue to be the same? The complaint offices does not take the complaint. Auto drivers do not behave properly.???????????????
