Hutch has turned Pink. Is it a branding exercise or something?
Whatever the reason, its nice to see the Hutch doggy back. The pink color somehow matches with the doggies tongue 
Hope they come up with some more commercials featuring the doggie!

What was your doggie’s name again? Maybe you can also celebrate by painting your home in pink color OR choosing a pink template for your blog. :-p lol

Radio Mirchi turned pink a few days before Hutch became pink.
but you are right, it is quite irritating to listen to Radio Mirchi these days. They only talk about pink. Add to that, they have changed the names of all their programmes to include the word ‘Pink’ - this is a bit too much!!!

I like the initial Hutch ads when it was launched. Remember the ubiquitous “Hi” hoardings ?

Radio Mirchi pink aa? Red Mirchi konjam poruthamaa irukkum.
It is just brand reinvention. Pepsi did with blue and now Hutch with pink. I can’t say how effective this switch to pink would be, but it definitely looks feminine.

I think they’re gonna let go of their Orange brand name, and jus market themself as Hutch everywhere.. so 1st thing, changing the logo colour to draw ppl’s minds off its association with Orange..

Orange (and the brand name) belongs to a another company (http://www.orange.com)that was operating under a collaboration with the hutchison-essar group in mumbai.
Hutch is the brand name of hutchison-essar group
The story is:
When orange’s agreement ceased, The brand Hutch was to replace Orange. Orange (the company) went to court that the Huch logo in Mumbai cannot be Orange (the colour) because of the orange-orange connection. Thus the logo in mumbai had to change.
I guess they decided to change it across the country.
