Ramesh iyer is that guy who got picked by ARR from that channel V program I think. Infact i saw that episode, it was the only one I had seen though. I think he is that dude!

can you send me indian express review of rang de basanti. it is not ramesh iyer but naresh iyer. he is known to me personally, and has recorded more songs, films yet to receive like god father, jil endru oru kadhal etc……and many more.
I just want to know about this Naresh Iyer ..A R Rahman has been involving him in all his projects.can anybody tell me?
Naresh iyer was selected by ARR from Super Singer Contest when he sang a beautiful carnatic music and is from Mumbai. He has studied Carnatic as well as hindustani Music and too dedicated to music. He has record many more songs which are yet to release in 2006. He has also sung for MD Srikant Deva in SARAVANAA. Please listen to his song KADHAL SUTTUDE in this film. Audio has been released.
