Life is a circle. What goes up comes down. Last week i was at the peak of happiness after watching boss live.
May be god decided then and there that how can this guy be happy for so long and cast his spell on me. Sigh.
It all started when my project team planned for a party. Movie followed by dinner. Sounded really good.
I asked my team mates to decide on a movie and they ended up getting tickets for salam namaste. I had heard that the movie was about live in relationships and i like preity. So i said ok.
First half was ok. Some comedy and fun. Second half started and it was like you are in a hospital room. Remaining part was about scans sono gram or whatever gram, morning sickness , pregnant women feeling like eating ice cream , labor pain , feeling baby inside etc.And climax of the movie inside the labor room. Baah. Movie makes you feel as if you are pregnant. Err. I am not saying anything about pregnant people or pregnancy. But i dont think its a clever idea to make the audience feel pregnant. Err. I do not know how it feels to be pregnant. Oh my god. What has happened to me ? What am i talking?
Please do not commit the mistake of watching this movie. Else you will end up talking crap like me ![]()
They should have named the movie as labor pain instead.

Yeah, I felt that way when I saw “9 Months” with stupid Hugh Grant – too much screaming and yelling and acting stupid on everybody’s part.
Preity’s moonwalk steps in a song was too much and her belly looked too artificial. Otherwise I felt it was ok.
Nithya adha total damage pannarapove paarka koodadhu nu decideeten

F e r r a r i,
You felt like you were pregnant? You can watch movies with was hero-centered. Hero has ambition, hero fights, hero does some totallly unrealistic things. But when it comes to a movie a little fem-centered, you guys taunt about it. Why?
I would say this is a totally MCPish attitude.
:–)))))))
Ok, I saw the movie, I did not like it too, second half was too dragging, tooo kinda stupidly mushy mushy. But hey, what do you expect from a Hindi movie?
I have stopped watching them for exactly the same reasons. And the trailer of the movie said, it is different from other recent movies, no large families, no gaudy clothes.
And Hindi movies are nowadays rarely made in India and the casts talk accented English. Uhh whatever.
but do write a he-she based on the movie.
)
btw, if you did not realize it, the first part of the comment was to pull your leg.
One good way to watch such crappy movies is to imagine the casts to be comedians. It will be reallly funny, and probably sometimes worth the dough too. That is what we did in the second half of the movie.
Ok longggg comment. Sorry for yapping away. But I am making up for not commenting for so long.
And why is email address and webspot required while commenting.?

it shudv been named jus “pain”, labor ellam theva illa!
Ferro,
I do not know how many of your readers are parents, but I am. Not wanting to sound very feminish, I can tell you that it is a wonderful experience to share with your wife (or otherwise as you might agree).
While the movie touches on some really tender spots like premarital conjugal experiences and single motherhood… take a look at the unexplored part. That men can be insensitive – as has been amply proved already. Take it from me, during pregnancy, your partner needs an enormous amount of support. Being insensitive only takes it downhill. Also, being discovered that she is pregnant when not planning for it can be quite a revelation to a woman. Man is half responsible for it. And shying away from the stage is only being less manly.
I know this is a fun post, but thought this comment is essential. Those who are married and are planning for children – be prepared mentally to accept and shoulder what is evident. That said, I rest my case!
Oh Yes.. I am a proud Daddy of an adorable daughter!
I did not see the movie, I simply did not get the time. I dont intend to.
Nithya,
Oh yes. Pain will be the right name!
Rubic Cube,
You completely misunderstood my post buddy. Pregnancy and child birth are something divine right? But the treatment meted out to this subject in this movie is yuck. They have made it extremely cheap and vulgar. Thats what am commenting about!
Ferro…
The name for the post is too philosophical for a content like this. Life is a circle and Destiny is true. One never realises these unless life hits you on the face and destiny proves all your efforts undone to thwart something from happening. My experience has taught me to simply accept and take advantage of providence.
Too much of heavy matter for a day – wot say, ferro?
Ferro…
Maybe I need to see the movie to comment rightly on your post.
You are at your own risk Gaja. Dont tell me I didnt warn you!!!
well… mine was just another thought. only that it was apparently disconnected from the theme of the post. nevertheless relevant in the context of the whole. wot say?
Ich can mich an dich uberhaupt poker nicht errinern.mjm
