Actually, the story goes back to Thangar Bachaan’s statement sometime back that ‘Actresses who act just for money (quoting an incident about Navya Nair who boycotted a day’s shooting for TB’s latest movie just because her makeup man wasn’t paid well) are equivalent to prostitutes’. There was a big furore and many actresses protested and finally the actors association forced TB to tender an apology which he did finally. TB is known to have a few supporters in Eelam league and the obvious Tamil die-hards like Thirumavalavan as TB is known for the nativity in his movies.
Now, that Khushboo came up with this pre-marital sex statemtn, TB’s camp would have felt that this is the best chance for revenge and they made her pay for it.
