The song is really good. Melodious one, and karthik has sung very well!
The lyrics of the song is in pure tamil. Simple words. Nice to see this trend of tamil songs in tamil only

Excellent lyrics. I especially like the way Thamarai puts the words together.
IMO, her best song so far is “oru ooril” song of “Kaaka Kaaka”, especially the line

The other rocking number in Ghajini is ‘Rahathulla’. Anupama’s (Chandralekha from TT) singing just rocks in this song. The background score in this song has shades of Bee Gee’s ‘Stayin Alive’.
Another Harris Jeyaraj album that is doing well in the charts is ‘Thotti Jaya’
Another Karthik number here tops the album -’Uyire Yen Uyire…’.
But the one that haunts you more is ‘Yaaridamum…’ sung by Ramesh Vinayagam and Harini. HJ has reused his own tune ‘Ye Chilipi’ sung brilliantly by Srinivas from the Telugu movie ‘Gharshana (Kaakha Kaakha in telugu)’. One of HJ’s top compositions.
