Its strange, small small incidents bring out emotions and sentiments from you. For instance, last night I gave couple of biscuits to one street dog near my house. The dog, didn’t have the biscuits. Instead she took it for her puppies. And then they all had it. It was such a sight to watch. Looking at it, reminded me of my amma. How many days, she waits for me to have my dinner and then have. She make the best food and serves it hot to me. And after some hours when the food has gone cold, has it. It might sound silly, but this incident made me emotional. Am missing my amma now

Hi Prabhu,
No wonder “Mother” has been voted the most beautiful word in the world by an independent survey conducted by an UN affiliated agency.
It is a relationship that is totally selfless from the mother’s side. Only the children do not reciprocate even partially appropriately most of the times.
After all those Dharumi type sandegam posts, finally one sensible post..:D
So sweet..:) Call up mom and talk to her… say that u miss her..;-)
I am with Nithya on this, nice refreshing post. Go on call mummy, go and see her soon

Tell you what, Ferrari – get your mother to have dinner along with you so that she doesnt have to eat cold food!
my mail server is not up
Get her a microovoen and reheat the food for her when she stays with you!
After all we just can’t be taking all the time.

Prabhu,
Wud like to share this poem with u….
A Mother’s love is something
that no one can explain,
It is made of deep devotion
and of sacrifice and pain,
It is endless and unselfish
and enduring come what may
For nothing can destroy it
or take that love away . . .
It is patient and forgiving
when all others are forsaking,
And it never fails or falters
even though the heart is breaking . . .
It believes beyond believing
when the world around condemns,
And it glows with all the beauty
of the rarest, brightest gems . . .
It is far beyond defining,
it defies all explanation,
And it still remains a secret
like the mysteries of creation . . .
A many splendoured miracle
man cannot understand
And another wondrous evidence
of God’s tender guiding hand.
….Btw nice post
Wow.
No wonder tamil film directors try to utilise this Amma sentiment a lot!!!
This weekend am going to chennai. I will show this particualr post and comments to my amma
