PrePaid vs PostPaid

Almost everyone has a mobile phone these days. And many of them use prepaid service, instead of post-paid. I really dont understand why people go for prepaid(Leave students and other dependants).

I feel post paid is better any day. Frequently people, complain that their currency(prepaid) got over and hence they are not able to send sms or call.

Imagine situations, where you need to use the mobile regulalrly, and you dont get time to recharge your card.

So my dear friends, thos of you who are using prepaid connection, please switch to postpaid as soon as possible. Rate wise there is not much of a difference.

And whilst roaming, where will you recharge your card???

There might be scenarios where you urgently want to communicate with your loved ones. What will you do if your currency gets over? Instead of shedding tears of sorrow, better go for post paid :-D

P.S. I am not responsible, if you consider this post as a dhrishti(bhuri nazar) for all the travelogue pictures :-P And yeah, click on each picture for an enlarged version :-D

btw,ill tell u one adv of prepaid over post paid. For people who dont realise how much they are spending on phone calls(like me) its better they use pre paid.atleast they will know how much they are spending.Better than getting a heart attack lookin at the phone bills end of month :)

Companies try to promote prepaid as they don’t need to bear the Credit risk (default by post paid customers). Since the credit risk can be quite high in developing countries like India, companies tend to give attractive offers to woo prepaid customers.

There is limited chance of being overcharged as you are alerted when u reach a particular balance. Carrying spare recharge cards might be an option. Thanks for Blogrolling me.

  11. msp says:

Prepaid enforces discipline on fellows such as yours truly. When my balance is down to 50 I exercise discretion in making calls and messages. Sometimes I last an entire week with that 50 in laziness induced artificial poverty. When I recharge and think if I can last a week on 50 how long this recharged amount should last me. The math doesn’t work that way of course, because I am rich now !

  12. Praveen says:
