Mumbai. I love this city for its fast life, amazing connectivity. And you can get anything, any day, any time! It was pouring like anything, from the moment I landed there. And within 10 minutes, my umbrella broke in the rain
It was raining so hard. The next day, rain reduced a little bit.
I went to Gateway of India and Marine Drive just to see how it looked like during the monsoon.
Thanks to the rains, it looked clean and neat
Here are some pictures.

Marine Drive. It looks all the more beautiful at night, with the street lights. From distance it looks like a necklace and people call this area as the Queens Necklace ![]()

Gateway of India

Remember Nayagan movie?

The taj gateway hotel

The reason why this structure was erected.

Look how neat it is near the VT station, after the rains!
Ok. With this, my travelogue ends. This was one of the best vacations I ever had in my life. Some people might think me as mad and crazy for going alone to many places. I dont care. Given the opportunity, I believe in living life to the fullest with or without company as long as I am alive ![]()
I have some more pictures with me. But tired of hosting posting blah blah. And with the J floating around, its better to maintain a low profile for some days
My next dream destinations.
1. Chennai (This will always remain No 1 till I settle there permanently)
1a. Rajasthan
2. North East (I want to go to Cherapunji atleast once in my life time)
3. Dal Lake, Kashmir
Hope you enjoyed the travelogue
Thanks for all the wonderful comments folks. Do visit the places I have mentioned. You will really enjoy. If you are planning for the trip and want some details please do not hesitate to mail me. prabhu dot ferrari at gmail dot com

Kashmir is BEEEYOOOOTIFUL, and that is a personal recommendation. My parents lived there for two years and I went there for every little break in the year, and it was all FANTASTIC. Except for the eve-teasers but I dont think YOU will have that problem if you go to Srinagar, Prabhu
