Be Clean

Last weekend, I had been to the barber shop. There was some crowd and so I was waiting inside.
Usually in Barber shops they have some magazines/newspapers. This guy had only Kannada(or was it Telugu) newspapers. So all I could do was watch the bommai.

My turn came and I was about to be seated, when the previous guy passed by me. Oops. I almost fainted. They guy was stinking so much :-( I think he hadnt taken bath for some 3 to 4 days. Idiot!

I asked the barber, how he managed to work for 20 minutes with this guy. Mr barber sighed and told me that, most of the guys wear the dirtiest of clothes and come to the barber shop. Just because, they need to wash the clothes after going home. And he said, most of the days he finds it very tough to work with such people after having some food. I really pity these people.

I always have the habit of wearing a spare t shirt, meant exclusively for the barber shop. It doesnt cost much. I think we should be more compassionate to people like barbers!!!!!They are also human beings.

How true! We are so engrossed in ourselves that we fail to think about the other person! The barber is after all offering a service, he isnt your slave!!

How about trying out high end hairdressers equipped with basins to wash your hair after ‘treating’ it. So you skip the post-haircut bath. You can go in your exec- style pinstripe suites smelling of coolwater !

Dude then we also have to be compassionate to those guys who come to take hair cut….They might be poor and cant afford to wash new clothes every time they take bath…And they might not even have other t-Shirts Like us…and more over THERE IS ONE THING NO PERSON WHOULD DO….(Criticise a person and discuss the ills of a person when he isnt there…u should talk to him directly.)
