Based on his advice, I went to this site godaddy
Regsitered a site. Well it costed me some 7 $ or something. I dont remember. Then, I got this privacy guard for some 7 $. Your details will not be listed in public. I recommend you to go for it as well. And I got some 3.5 $ discount. Overall I paid 10.5 $ (All rates/ year). You get some 60 MB space.
Host
Give your specifications to Madhu. He will get the site up and running for you along with 60 MB space. And it costs 850 Rs only 
He suggested that I move to wordpress. I chose a template, and the site is up. Thats it 
But if you want to move your archives from blogger to wordpress it will take sometime. But I decided not to move it. Let it be there in blogger only!!
Thats it. Its not very tough or costly to have your own domain

Er, no, Godaddy doesn’t give you any hosting space. Did you sign up for one of their “value-added” services, Prabhu? If so, I recommend you go there immediately and cancel it because you’re already paying for hosting elsewhere.
